The Mit-chowki signal in Malad has been synonymously called ‘Uncle’s Kitchen Ka signal’, even after the restaurant has shifted to its new residence behind St. Anne’s School. The change of address however has neither affected the number of customers eating here nor the junction still being called that. And yes you are still served in plastic ware.
This Chinese fast food joint has been serving delicious fare at fairly reasonable costs for years. It sports a first floor that could even be termed as romantic if it not for the scores of noisy families that are the typical patrons.
The usuals are tasty: drums of heaven or chicken lollipops, sweet corn chicken soup and chilly chicken. Alternatively try out the scrumptious nutty chicken, succulent lamb chilly, the delicious Mongolian veg or even the delectable fish in oyster sauce for variety.
The service is quick and good. Definitely gets a royal thumbs up.
