Torrp It Up was launched on April 8, 2010. The idea behind this eatery is that they offer torpedo sandwiches, famous in New York, as full fledged meals. They believe a sandwich is a meal and not just a snack.
There is a clear demarcation between vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine in terms of the menu, staff uniforms and separate counters. Each filling is available in different forms – as a sandwich, wrap or salad. There is a torrp of the day option as well costing Rs. 70. They have a no-beef, no-pork policy and all the meat is ‘halal’. Must-haves here would be the lamb kafta wrap, salmon cream cheese torrp, herb-garlic mushroom torrp, veg pesto torrp and chicken burritos.
