The Golden Chariot spells royalty and definitely lives up to it. Live ghazals in the evening and candle light dinners on select days set the mood for a perfect, romantic evening. Subtle lighting could replace the current flashy illumination, but no one seems
to complain – the scrumptious food makes up for it.
Kebabs are a specialty here. Gilafi sheekh (mutton sheekh kebabs combined with cheese) and the kadai chickenwala spring roll take you by surprise. The latter, especially, is an interesting fusion of North Indian and Chinese flavours. The reshmi kebabs are soft and
melt in your mouth. For the main course, lehsooni prawns and sabzi Uttranchali go well with an assorted roti basket. A delicious dum biryani sums up the spread. The kulfi and hot gulab jamuns are a great choice for those with a sweet tooth.
The whole experience gets a little heavy on the pocket, but is worth it.
i 've been to this place a couple of times with family and friends. the ambience, service and food used to be good earlier but they are not able to sustain it nemore. the lights are too dim and you can't even see what you are eating. the colors of the tapestry are too loud and the red lighting makes it even worse.
food is okay when it comes to non-veg but vegetarian is a strictly no no. their chinese dishes don't have an authentic flavour. its like the indianised version that you can get in any road side stall
