Not located on sandy shores but in a building is The Beach Shack. The seating arrangements is basic, some of it partitioned and elevated and sporting a wheel. Look around and you will find embossed figures of dolphins, whales, sea- shells and everything that will remind you of the sea. Popular music plays in the background. This ambiance induces the ‘susegado’ feel. The staff dressed in Hawaiian shirts is courteous and quick; attentive not intrusive.
The food is delectable although pricey. Go in for the sumptuous noon spread (Buffet services) which is available everyday but rates change over the weekend. Thumbs up for the live pasta counter; delicious pasta in sinful white sauce is the way to go!
Try the reshmi kebab, chicken coriander soup or even the surmai masala which are flavoursome at the least. The gulab jamuns, for dessert, is an excellent choice.
The a la carte menu may be a bit steep but then again it's for the good life.
