In Bandra’s über food district, competition is fierce between street-side joints. Sultan’s Shawarma looks like the new kingpin on the block. Although prices start at INR 89 for a veg shawarma, the food manages to live up to the cost. The portions definitely score – they are huge! The Greek chicken shawarma (INR 99) is loaded to the brim with chicken, bell peppers, pickles, chips and delectable garlic sauce. The fillings, sauces and breads are delicious – some of the best shawarmas we’ve eaten in the city. They serve mutton shawarmas as well. Side order platters with hummus, falafel and wedges are available; be careful not to over-order.
These chunky shawarmas are big on size, taste and quality, and earn a WhereCity recommendation!
