Spencer’s revamped its Inorbit branch and now sports snazzy and uber polished segments and products. The Patisserie is the newest entrant, nestling near the cash counter. The wonderful redolence of freshly baked bread will make you take a detour toward the bakery. Inch closer to find, a variety of bread on offer; French baguettes, Indian bread or pav, brown pav, loaves of bread spiced or infused with ingredients like potato, rosemary and the like. Also, there are pastries, cakes, cupcakes, and cookies to pick from.
The sweet-bun might catch your fancy because of its softness but beware; it is unsweetened and rather chewy. The cookies too are better left in the tart. The potato- rosemary bread though is delicious.
For all its refinements, Spencer’s Patissserie will need to spruce up if it wants to be the next big thing for cookies and pastries. Until then head to Cookie Man for your dose of crunchy delights.
