The mahogany coloured door opens up to a very spacious and subtly lit sports bar; the kind of which are few in number in the city and the sort that Mumbai can boast of.
Prepare to be ‘wow’ed at the individual television screens at few tables, a basket ball court, dartboard, PS3 console and pool tables (both Rs 100/hr), and a large television (makes for an incredible game night!). Care for some laughter? The posters on the wall are worth a walk to. Pictures of footballers too dot the place along with EPL team logos. You can also reserve a table with a private bar! The music is a mix of rock anthems, dishy-romantic numbers and hummable tunes.
The munchies are good but expensive, although the fusion of Italian, Indian, Mexican and Continental fare on the menu tends to make everyone happy. While the basil pesto pasta (Rs.225) is filled with heavenly flavour the prawn and calamari ajilo (Rs 225) was disappointing. A consistency in food taste might help.
The staff is courteous and the service is not so swift but then no one is really complaining; something or the other fascinates one here.
Whether you are ready to score or not… the place is definitely not a waste of time. Eat, drink, watch tv or stroll around at the superbly stylised Score.
