It almost feels like being in a restaurant in Mexico, when in Sanchos. The service is excellent in this cozy restaurant. The ingredients used, the nachos, the tortillas, the habaneros (chillies) are Mexican imports. Victor, the chef, also from Mexico says “at Sanchos we try to give you the best of Tex-Mex along with a slice of the more traditionalâ€Â.
Sanchos’ vast menu incorporates everything Mexican; from nachos, delicious guacamole sauce, enchiladas, quesadillas, tortillas, burritos, fajitas to Mexican soups and various types of tacos. The tacos here are a hit; both, the hard-shelled Tex-Mex variety of crisp fried as well as the soft Mexican ones (made from corn or whole wheat), served with re-fried beans, salad and a piquant sauce. Equally popular are their Mexican wraps or burritos, and fajitas (served with Mexican rice with coloured peppers, onions and beans with chicken or prawns). Despite the strange name like Chicken Mole (a chocolate sauce dish), it garners more than just raised eyebrows.
The dessert menu comprises of varied crepes, a sponge cake topped with delicious cream and piped doughnuts and personal favourite-chocolate nachos. The fun bar is replete with beer on tap, tequila and outstanding Margaritas amongst others!
