After enticing Puneites with the choicest selections of mouthwatering parathas for over the past 30 years, Nandu’s Paratha House has opened its first branch in Mumbai, with a similar intention. With the average paratha priced between Rs. 50 – 100, Nandu’s offers VFM, delicious and unconventional choices, including the sumptuous pizza topping paratha, jalapeno cheese paratha, pasta paratha and chocolate paratha! The modest aloo and gobi parathas are also present on the menu. All parathas are served with some refreshing curd, chutney and pickled onions. Other hot picks include a selection of Punjabi dishes, dals and thalis.
The special Jain menu offered by Nandu’s is a huge hit amongst the truly vegetarian! Though seating is a bit cramped, the quality of food offered exceeds expectations.
