| Edition 4 of Moshe’s sits pretty atop Nature’s Basket – new fodder for café-happy Bandra. Warm accents and a comforting ambience can’t match the parent branch at Cuffe Parade, but the restaurant holds its own. The food borders on expensive, but can’t be qualified as daylight robbery. Moshe’s handcrafted menus are legendary and tell tales of his travels to the Middle East. Sandwiches, salads, dips, pastas, wholesome main course meals and chunky desserts dominate the menu. The chargrilled fish, kubba (chicken dumplings) and chocolate orange flourless cake are stellar. The service is righteous and the desserts are virtuous, be it the chocolate-orange flourless cake or the good ol’ Philly cheesecake. |
