Comfortably stacked amid the well-established joints on Carter Road’s ‘khao galli’ is Kalypso Coffee Bar. Occupying the porch of Asia Wok, this miniscule café comes with narrow seating and a range of sandwiches with fillings like paneer burji, spinach and corn, roasted chicken tikka, chicken salsa. Although the cold coffees and lattes are not its asset, the desserts such as the blueberry cheesecake, chocolate fantasy and brownies are undoubtedly enticing and the best part of your meal. At approximately Rs. 200 for two, Kalypso is worth a taste – chiefly for the desserts!
