Bandra has been famous for its bakeries just as Darjeeling is famous for tea. Hearsche is one such bakery located in a quiet corner off Hill Road. It mainly caters to college students and the like – serving rolls, burgers, biscuits, wafers, cakes, biryanis and Chinese meals.
Being a self service joint and a small one at that, Hearsche manages to stay packed with people throughout the day. The food is tasty and makes for a filling, budget bite. One must try the chicken roll and the chicken burger. The ambience is not much to talk of, but the surrounding trees offer good shade whereas the rocks provide a good place to sit and make small talk while eating.

What i like about this place is you can have a full meal by sampling everything on the menu and still feel like you haven't spent too much money. It gets packed in the evenings and you don't get served fast but the staff is as efficient as is possible.
