Golden Grill, a newbie on Carter Road’s Khau Galli has replaced the mutli-cuisine Lisantro. Although a recent addition, this restaurant is already in the race vying for patrons. Before the unexciting and bland setting prompts you to exhaust the other options, remember never to judge a book by its cover. The food does more than atone for the ambience.
The menu may not offer you a plethora of options but the meal provided is certainly palatable. Chicken tikka rolls, mushroom dahi kababs, aloo chutneywala, rogan josh, butter chicken and more are liberally seasoned with flavoursome spices. The chef is generous with the quantity and quality at a reasonable rate of INR 300 – 500 for two. Overlooking the nondescript backdrop and considering the impressive food, Golden Grill definitely deserves a taste!
