Utilising the vertical space of its heritage environs, Fort Bizarre has filigree mirrors, smoky kadappa stone, a treasure chest, statues and what not. A fine dining area and bar downstairs are connected via a silky, spiral staircase to a lounge and private dining area upstream. The menu comprises well-prepared Lucknowi-Awadhi food. Try the Charminar chops, dak bungalow chicken, basil paneer tikkas and the chap masala. Vegetarians have an excellent section including a Jain speciality menu.
We anticipate that the trickles of customers at this newly opened, all-day restaurant-cum-bar will balloon into a regular clientele – for the good fare and alcohol at moderate places. Fort Bizarre has a tendency to disconnect you from the outside world, which isn’t a bad thing in this city!
