Eggsunday is a small and colorful cafe-esque restaurant in the suburbs. As the name implies, it’s all about the eggs. The menu lists varied dishes made from eggs from different parts of the world like bhurji pav, anda biryani and egg pakoras from India; kanai paratha from Malaysia; akuri with brun pav from Persia; Spanish omelettes from Spain and a lot more. The impressive menu doesn’t do much good, as most of the items (including coffee) are not available. That makes one wonder why they tease mere mortals with a mirage of egg-citing treats?
The prices are on the higher side – 145 bucks for a bhurji pav. Its non run-of-the-mill menu makes it worth visiting; only if the food would measure up. This potential haunt needs to gear up if they want a regular set of customers pouring in, for an appetising, early morning bite.
