Oddly located near Khar Station, in Hotel Evergreen, is a restaurant-cum-bar-cum-lounge- cum café all rolled in one. Steeped with dim lighting and an electric yet unhurried vibe, chef Saif of Derby Café serves scrumptious Continental fare together with an array of novelty cocktails and mocktails. Hungry diners must sample their salads, chicken starters (especially recommended: jerk chicken fingers served with a lip-smacking yogurt-garlic dip) and some mean pastas that are enough for two. Also try their famous ‘Prawn Cocktail’ if you seek for more than just an ordinary meal. Largely, this is a nice place to drop by for drinks or to munch on the delicious starters and fish preparations.
