How many donuts from M.O.D. can you demolish in one sitting? For those who think it’s as easy as pie, try and polish off a single Cinnabon classic and we’ll refund the dough (no pun intended). Priced at a hundred bucks a pop, the Cinnabon classic is a mammoth cinnamon-bun topped with cream cheese frosting. The caramel pecanbon and Cinnabon stix make for the only real variations in the menu. They offer flavoured coffees, teas and coolers as well.
While the aroma of freshly ground cinnamon and coffee can be intoxicating, it doesn’t entirely translate into the buns, that are too doughy (perhaps the eggless baking policy and pure vegetable margarine have a part to play) and have the classic franchise taste after the first few bites. Doused in sugar and slightly overpriced. The paucity of options in the menu doesn’t help, either. Rest assured, bun-maska ain’t overthrown just yet!
