China Ming is one of the few restaurants in Mumbai which serves authentic oriental cuisine. The interiors are pleasant, with a carving of a fire breathing Chinese dragon adorning the wall. The waiters are dressed in the traditional Chinese attire. The Vengaboys obsession, however, could be done away with. This music does not really gel with the oriental theme!
The food though, does complete justice to the Oriental cuisine. Every dish, right from Mama's Hot Pot Soup to the delectable Nasi Goreng (Indonesian fried rice), from the tasty Gaiho Baitong (diced chicken wrapped in banana leaf) to hot mustard prawns and Udang Kecap (Indonesian Prawns), tries to maintain its authenticity and succeeds. For dessert, dig into the famous fruit nut money bag or the amazing sizzling brownies.

being very close to my house, China Ming is my first preference for Chinese food. I love the chicken pot rice they serve there. the sauces here are very authentic and not the Indian versions.
