The soft vadas dipped in piping hot rasam are the best way to start your meal. The authentic taste of Mysore masala dosa, ulundu (dosa made of urad dal) and khotu idli (idlis wrapped in jackfruit leaves) take you directly to a traditional South Indian kitchen. Do not forget to sip the filter coffee served Udipi style in steel cups.
You can also feast on the seasonal specials like amras puri and pineapple halwa. The restaurant also offers flavoured kulfis with falooda to square up the meal. Rest assured, you will come out of this place with a heavy and satisfied belly and heavier still wallet!
This place smells like heaven. Oh! those soft rasam wadas just melt in your mouth. I do try to go there often for a quick breakfast on my way to office.

king of South Indian joints in Mumbai
I love South Indian food and there's no place that makes it like Cafe Mysore does. The rasam wadas, mysore masala dosa and coffee are unlike anything i have eaten anywhere in the city. Despite the legendary stories, the simplicity of this cafe is amazing.
