Cafe Madras is running since 1940, a fact evident from the beautiful colonial façade. Inside, interestingly, bells hang from the ceilings which the customers are free to ring.
As South Indian restaurants go, Cafe Madras too is noisy but the food is as tasty as it can be. In spite of the slew of similar places spinning up at every corner, the eatery has managed to hold ground. Customers fill up the cafe as early as 7 am!
Worth a try for good South Indian food at an affordable rate.
