The latest entrant in the city’s many coffee-house chains; Bru World Cafe is but a poor cousin of its counterparts.
The menu is made up of typical cafe offerings –lattes, mochas, cappuccinos, brownies, paninis, granitas, pastries, muffins, teas, sandwiches, wraps, etc.
The food, however, looks like it’s been sitting in the counter for hours, the quality is low, the portions small, there is little or no innovation, and the chocolate muffin tastes more like mawa cake.
The ambience is appealing, but the spacious seating area is far from cosy. The wooden chairs and tables remind you of your office-canteen.
Unless you’re a college student on a shoe -string budget, or can’t find any other cafe close-by, avoid this one.
