Slow rock and retro and a crowd of sports fanatics (currently the Mumbai Indian fans) – Banana Bar guarantees at least one of the two on every visit.
The place is divided into two levels – downstairs lies the lounge area with a longish bar. At the second level, there is a smaller bar with two pool tables and a younger crowd fancies this section.
This multi-cuisine restobar serves Indian, Chinese, Italian and Continental fare. The stroganoff is a must try. The surprises on the menu are easy on the taste buds – desi chicken sausages, baked chilli prawns and the kheema pav.
The well-stocked bars serve a host of cocktails, but the O’Banana stands out. Keep in mind the happy hours (a 25% discount on all drinks upto 9 pm) and drop by on Wednesdays for cocktail night, where you get a free cocktail for every one that you purchase.
