The restaurant is as busy as the street outside; bustling and noisy. The warmly lit place is quite welcoming though if you are tired of your train journey and want a comfortable (and soft) seat to rest.
Balaji Pure Veg‘s motto (engraved on the menu) is Fast. Fusion. Flavour. Not quite fast if you take 15 minutes for a sev puri (Rs 40)! But yes, flavour definitely. The crunchy puris judiciously topped with veggies and chutneys and crunchier sev is quite satisfying.
The Paneer Jafreezi too is delectable. As for fusion; if you have South Indian dishes like sada dosa alongside melon sunshine mocktail and 7 wonders pizza, well that has fused cuisines enough. For those looking to beat the heat, there is an A/C section on the top floor.
