This newly opened eatery on Linking Road, is the brainchild of Andy Chandnani, who also ran the very popular Tangy Tamarind in the same premises.
From all types of pizzas and yummy pastas, salads to grilles and burgers, soups to desserts, Andy’s Pizzas, has something for everyone. They make thin crust, deep pan and cheese stuffed pizzas, and there is a large variety to choose from. We tried their signature dish, the Veggie Supreme (Rs. 160 for 7 inches). It has delicate toppings of sun dried tomatoes, olives, mushrooms and the finest mozzarella cheese. Their most popular non-veg pizza is the BBQ chicken.
There is an a la carte menu as well. This includes a wide selection of pastas, including a delicious lasagne. They also do Grilled Fish or Chicken, which are served with a side order of vegetables and French fries (Rs 350). Their ‘live salad bar’ (Rs 160) boasts of 12 new dishes everyday and these include 3 non-veg salads while the rest are vegetarian. For those who want something light, we would recommend their delicious mushroom soup and a burger. For once the mushroom soup tasted of mushroom and not flour!
The one notable thing about this place, is that between Andy and his mother, who oversees the kitchen, everything is of the highest quality. They also have an in-house bakery and here too “quality is what counts”, and this seems to be he general motto of Andy’s Pizzas. The ambience and food at Andy’s Pizzas, are sure to appeal to a large number of their patrons. Andy’s also has a well stocked bar and they make authentic and delectable cocktails as well!
