You would think Bollywood's fixation with foreign locations and white skin is over! No, not yet.
Two small time crooks, one robbed banker, a dumb cop and his schizophrenic wife, gun trotting gangsters, high rises, bikini -clad women, stolen diamonds and farting gorillas, that's No Problem for you.
Don’t bother to find the story; there isn’t one.
After making successful comic capers like No Entry, Welcome and Singh is King, Anees Bazmi fails to hit the right note with this one. No Problem doesn't even fit into the brainless- masala -film -genre.
Anil Kapoor falters rather miserably in his attempt to do The Pink Panther with his bumbling cop act. Matching Steve Martin's histrionics is not that easy, I guess. Sushmita Sen has gone the Kangna Ranaut way this time (her character suffers with multiple personality disorder). While, in a desperate need to shed her image of a disturbed girl Kangna herself plays a fashionable bimbette. Both their characters however, instead of alluring to watch ahead, fall flat due to bad comic timing. Every time Anees Bazmee tries to lower your stress levels, Sushmita's act gets them higher.
Suniel Shetty (as don Marcos) along with his moll ( Neetu Chandra) and gang doesn't do much except posing with guns whenever camera zooms on him. The menacing Khokha ( Ranjeet) who once terrified the audience with his “ Once in a blue moon...kabhi...kabhi” in Vishwanath is reduced to a mockery.
The climax of the film tries to en-cash on the success of Singh is King but doesn't impress much.
Average dialogues and loud characters try too hard to tickle that funny bone which might just break in the end with so much stress laid on it. So save your bone for some real comedy and avoid this one while you can.
