If you have nodded to even one of the above then this Bartending workshop (by the Art Loft) might be designed just for you.
However before you can get into flairtending and all that jazz-dazzle, it is imperative to learn and master the basics. Mixology is something that needs to be a constant a lil-bit-of-this and a-lil-bit-of –that to achieve a good smooth cocktail.
A cocktail usually consists of a spirit /distilled beverage/ liquor (vodka, rum, whiskey, tequila, gin), mixer (water, fruit juice) and additional ingredients like (ice, sugar, milk, cream, herbs). The fusion of one or more of each makes an interesting alcoholic drink. Terror strikes (sour face) when you get too much of a mixer or even an additional ingredient.
Practice will definitely make you perfect, if not drunk!

How to
Make one cocktail each with four basic spirits namely vodka, rum, whisky and tequila.
Plan the quantity for cocktail parties, design a cocktail menu based on the occasion, and make great cocktails impromptu with available ingredients and spirits.
Pair cocktails with food.
And
Create your own signature cocktail.

About the teacher:
Arina Suchde: Her basic qualifications include one from IHM, Ahmadabad in Hotel Management and a Diploma in Bartending from the Johnnie Walker Bartending Academy. She has also completed Level 2 from WSET (Wines & Spirits Education Trust of U.K., the foremost authority on beverage education and training, worldwide.)
